M1 Carbine Match
M1 Carbine Match Scores
A CMP Sanctioned M1 Carbine Match.
Registration starts at 8am and the match will begin promptly at 9am.
Match fee is $10 for members,
$15 for non-club members and $5 for juniors (19 and under).
Awards will be CMP Achievement pins for participants who shoot an in-competition qualifying score.
Participants must provide their own ammunition (minimum 50 rounds).
Eligibility:
Match is open to the public so you do not need to be a RBGC member to participate. All competitors
must have a notarized CMP affidavit and must sign a range waiver & liability agreement.

Course of Fire – 100 yards
Sighters – Max of 10 sighting or practice shots, time limit of 10 minutes.
Stage 1 - Slow fire, prone 10 record shots, time limit of 5 minutes.
Stage 2 - Rapid fire, prone from standing, 10 record shots, time limit of 60 seconds.
Stage 3 - Rapid fire, sitting or kneeling from standing, 10 record shots, time limit of 60 seconds.
Stage 4 - Slow fire, standing, 10 record shots, time limit of 10 minutes.
All firing is at 100 yards on the SR-1 high power rifle target (200 yard SR target reduced for
firing at 100 yards).
Rifles Permitted:
M1 Carbines must be as-issued USGI receivers with standard stock and sights, as per rule 4.2.2 of
the CMP rulebook. Non-USGI receivers are welcome to shoot out of competition. A small number of
loaner rifles will be available but you must contact the match director prior to the match to
reserve a loaner rifle.
The match will be held on the MP2 range.
